The Management of Trust Bank on Thursday, February 2, 2023, presented two Computers and a printer to the police intervention unit (PIU) in Farafenni.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Managing Director of Trust Bank, Mrs. Njilan Senghore said the gesture is part of their continued support to the Gambia Police Force.

“We are here as usual to show our support. We have a corporate social responsibility program and what that means is that as Gambians we feel that when Gambians and Gambian institutions and communities need support then we should be seen as available to provide that support. That is why we are seen regularly across the length and breadth of the Country providing support to different sectors mainly health, education, sports, and disaster relief, but in any area that we are needed we will like to help.

“Our visit here today is in response to your request that we should provide you with some operating tools to help you improve your operational efficiency. It is important to us that you are equipped to do the work that you do because we count on you as Gambians and especially as a Bank to help safeguard our assets and our livelihoods. We value the work that you do and this is the way to show our appreciation,” she said.

ACP Mustapha Sow, Deputy Commissioner of Police in Farafenni thanked Trust Bank for their kind gesture;

“This donation is a big thing for us and it will improve our operational efficiency. There are many times when secretaries use pen and paper to document publications and keep data. This is inefficient and outdated. The Bank coming up with this magnificent donation is long overdue,” he said.
