Five Suspects Apprehended By Anti-Crime Unit Following Assault On School Students

The Kotu Anti-Crime Unit has arrested and detained five individuals suspected of involvement in an assault on pupils at Deeper Life School.
The incident, which occurred on March 27, 2024, prompted a rapid response from ACU-Kotu following a distress call, leading to the arrest of the suspects. One student sustained severe injuries, necessitating hospitalization. Furthermore, a video has emerged implicating students from WASS and Glory Baptist School as potential suspects, adding complexity to the investigation.
“The Kotu Anti-crime Unit received a distressing report on March 27, 2024, regarding a violent attack on Deeper Life School students, resulting in severe injuries to one student who required hospitalization. In a swift response, ACU-Kotu deployed officers, leading to the arrest of five suspects. Additionally, a video surfaced implicating students from WASS and Glory Baptist School as potential suspects,” the police said.
The police are actively investigating the matter and have called upon the community, especially parents and educators, to help uphold the peace and report any occurrences that could compromise public safety.
