Kebba Madi Bojang, leader of the National Democratic Party (NDP), has urged Gambians to use the December 5 presidential election to bring an end to the economic hardships facing the country, calling on voters to support leaders who understand their struggles and are committed to improving their living conditions.

Speaking at an NDP political meeting in Bundung, Mr. Bojang said the upcoming election presents an opportunity for citizens to determine the country’s future and elect a government capable of addressing their economic difficulties.

“If what ordinary Gambians are saying about the hardships they face is indeed the reality, then they know what to do in the upcoming election,” he said.

The NDP leader argued that Gambians have the power to change their circumstances through the ballot box, urging them to translate their frustrations over prevailing economic conditions into electoral action.

He called on voters to support the NDP-led alliance, which he said offers an alternative leadership capable of addressing the country’s challenges and improving the welfare of ordinary citizens.

Mr. Bojang maintained that the December election would be an opportunity for Gambians to choose between continuing under the current administration and pursuing a different political direction.

He further pledged that, if elected, his alliance would begin working to address the concerns of Gambians even before formally assuming office.

However, he emphasized that the responsibility for determining the country’s political future rests with the electorate, urging citizens to exercise their voting rights and make a decision based on their lived experiences.
