Momodou Sabally, the Campaign Manager of the United Democratic Party (UDP) responding to the National People’s Party’s press conference tells president Adama Barrow that his people are fooling him.

“Your secretary for Media and Communication, Sulayman Camara, said UDP is on a life support machine. These people are fooling you Mr president. Look at Sulayman Camara’s way of dressing, you should sack him. He doesn’t even know his work. He doesn’t know anything about media issues.

“Mr president listen to the first statement you made when we met at the independence celebration and look how this man was dressed. Sulayman Camara, whoever you are, don’t let yourself be famous for telling lies and hypocrisy. I will not respond to other speakers. Right now, we are fired up and ready to go. Our campaign is going fine, we are not going to respond to petty talks,” the UDP campaign manager said.

The United Democratic Party’s Campaign Manager also describes the National People’s Party as the opposition in the upcoming local government election;

“Didn’t i tell you that in the upcoming Local Government Elections, UDP is the incumbent? I told you Rohey Malick Lowe is the incumbent in Banjul. Talib Ahmed Bensouda is the Incumbent in KM. Foday Danjo is in Basse and others. We are the incumbent for this upcoming Local Government Election.

“The people contesting against us are the oppositions, then NPP is the opposition for this upcoming election and they have shown the sign. I saw them shouting at their press conference yesterday. Someone asked me to watch but I told him to let me drink my Ataya and enjoy my weekend. It is not easy to be the opposition, but take heart. Continue doing press conferences but the conundrum you find yourselves in is that your Leader said people should stop doing press conferences,” Momodou Sabally said.
