At Least 8 Died In Faraba Car-crash

The Officer-in-Charge (OIC), Brikama Health Centre, Lamin Sanyang said they received eight corpses from a crash between a sprinter and a truck in Faraba earlier today.
“We received eight dead bodies here (Brikama health center), 7 adults and one child. However, we have transferred all the dead bodies to Banjul. We received 14 people that were injured. But we received information that the death toll has increased in Banjul,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Transport, Bai Lamin Jobe said a police report has indicated that out of 775 road accidents in The Gambia, averagely 115 people die on an annual basis.
