Alkali Conteh, Siaka Jatta, and Burama Sanneh Deployed to the Foreign Service

Kerr Fatou Media has confirmed from the Permanent Management Office that Mr. Alikali Conteh- adviser to the President, has been appointed as the Gambia’s new Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey. He replaces Seringe Modou Njai, who was recently appointed Minister of Defence.
This medium has also learned that Mr. Siaka Jatta, erstwhile presidential adviser, has been deployed to the Gambia Embassy in China as a Counselor. The NPP’s National Organising Secretary, Burama Sanneh (Fabou) is heading to Jeddah as a counselor at the Gambia’s diplomatic post in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a piece of related news, we are reliably informed by the PMO that Lamin Dibba former Minister of Environment, Climate Change and Natural Resources is appointed as the Gambia’s permanent representative to the United Nations replacing Lang Yaboe, while former petroleum minister Fafa Sanyang is heading to the United Arab Emirates, as head of mission.
