Yankuba Darboe, UDP Candidate For BAC Chairmanship

On Saturday, May 14, 2023, Yankuba Darboe, the United Democratic Party (UDP) candidate for the upcoming chairmanship election in the Brikama Area Council, held a meeting in Kombo Sanyang to present his plans and agenda to the electorate.
“We are going to build a foundation for a modern Gambia that UDP will usher us into in 2026. This upcoming election is very important, we all know the state of the country. Not long ago, NAWEC increased the cash power tariff. A bag of rice is very expensive now. The West Coast is the face of the Gambia, if you elect me as your Chairman, I will work with Councillor Boto Bojang and other councillors to bring developments to the people,” Yanks Darboe Said.
Yankuba Jaiteh, a prominent member of the UDP, urged the electorate to vote for Yankuba Darboe
“The people of the West Coast, you have a good candidate and don’t play with it. Yankuba Darboe is a man amongst men. I want you all to join hands and support him. You should make sure that Yankuba Darboe becomes the Chairman of the West Coast Region. Yankuba is a man of integrity and honesty. If you vote for Yankuba Darboe I know that he will transform Brikama Area council, you will have more than what KMC have in the leadership of Talib Ahmed Bensouda,” he said.
Major Bojang and other speakers all urge the electorates of west coast to vote for Yankuba Darboe.
