By Buba Gagigo
Momodou Sabally, Campaign Manager of the United Democratic Party (UDP) has described Youth and Sports Minister Bakary Badjie as a ‘thief’ as NPP prepares to select him as their candidate for Mayor of Kanifing Municipal Council (KMC).
“In KMC they want to bring the current Minister of Youth and Sports. I want to ask the youth in Niumi, have you ever seen him here? He is the one who stole your money and give it to his wife to go and watch football. Bakary Badjie is a thief, he should not contest any election and nobody should vote for him. Then tell your KMC family and friends to vote for Talib Ahmed Bensouda to continue his good work,” the UDP campaign manager said.
The United Democratic Party (UDP) Campaign Manager also urged Banjulians not to vote for Ebou Faye as he was accused of destroying the stadium;
“The one they want to bring to contest in Banjul is the one who destroyed our stadium. It has never happened for the Gambia to play an international game in Senegal. That’s the person Barrow brought to contest in Banjul. Do you think Banjulians will vote for him? Call your relatives in Banjul and tell them to vote for Rohey Malick Lowe,” he said.
Sabally also called on all other Regions to vote for United Democratic Party (UDP) candidates;
“Foday Danjo is also in Basse, tell your relatives in Basse to vote for him to continue his work in Basse. In LRR we have Landing Sanneh, Malick Sowe is in CRR south, and Alagie SB Sowe is in CRR North. I want to tell the people of Niumi, president Barrow has fooled you and the entire country. He refused to step down after three years,” the UDP campaign manager said
The United Democratic Party (UDP) Momodou Sabally was speaking Saturday at Nuimi Bakalarr where he attended a Naming ceremony on behalf of his party leader Lawyer Ousainu Darbo.
