Meanwhile, Hon. Seedy Keita, Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs said Trust Bank’s performance since 1997 has been stellar.

“This is justified because we saw a publication from global Finance where the Bank emerged as the Best Bank in customer service for six consecutive years from 2003 to 2008, to the GCCI Banker of the year award for five years respectively in 2002, (2003), 2004, 2005 and 2010,” he said.

The Finance Minister added that the Bank is the only indigenous Bank in The Gambia listed on the Accra stock exchange marking the cross-listing of a financial institution in the Gambia for the first time.
