NIA 9 Trial: Former NIA Director Badjie, 5 Others Found Guilty

The judge in the NIA 9 case has found the 1st accused Yankuba Badjie guilty of murder of Solo Sandeng. Also found guilty of murder is the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th accused persons. They were also found guilty of inflicting bodily harm to Nokoi Njie, Fatoumatta Jawara and others.
Louis Gomez former deputy director of NIA was the 2nd accused. He died while in remand.
Saikou Omar Jeng is the 3rd accused person in the case.
Baboucarr Sallah is the 4th accused
Haruna Susso is the 5th accused person
Yusupha Jammeh is the 6th accused person
Masireh Tamba is the 7th accused
Lamin Darboe is the 8th accused
Lamin Lang Sanyang is the 9th accused
They were standing trial on twenty-five charges ranging from murder, causing grievous harm, accessory, conspiracy to commit felony, fraudulently preparing a death certificate, forgery, making document without authority, fabricating evidence, disobedience to statutory and abducting.
