Minister Sillah Presents Road Safety Signs

Hon. Ebrima Sillah, Minister of Transport, Works, and Infrastructure today presented 172 road safety signs to a road safety group.
The road safety signs are meant for installation across the country to minimize road traffic accidents and fatalities.
“It has come to the attention of the government and members of the communities that there has (sick) been lots of casualties due to road accidents. The President of the Republic of the Gambia and the Minister of Transportation, Honourable Sillah feels (sick) it necessary to equip our roads to reduce road accidents,” Works Minister Ebrima Sillah wrote on Facebook.
The Minister appealed to the public, drivers, and the security to kindly follow the road signs and the speed limits, especially in residential areas.
“Every life is important, including the driver who is driving the car. Always remember to remind the drivers to obey the traffic rules and regulations, or report them to the nearest police station,” he said.
