Former National People’s Party (NPP) West Coast executive Fanding Baldeh was arrested at his residence in Brikama on Thursday afternoon.
According to information available, officers from the Kanifing Mobile Traffic Unit arrived at his home at approximately 2:30 p.m. and took him into custody.
Sources said the officers did not disclose the reason for his arrest at the time, informing Mr. Baldeh only that he would be briefed on the matter upon arrival at the police station.
