New Acting CEO GIEPA
Ousainou Senghore ,the former GTBoard Finance Director controversially transfered to SSFHC where he was reportedly rejected has now been appointed acting CEO of GIEPA, impeccable sources told Kerr Fatou.
Our source confirmed that already senior staff of GIEPA have been informed by an internal memo announcing Mr Senghore’s appointment by the “Executive”. Mr Senghore was the former Finance Director at Gambia Tourism Board under the Ministry of Tourism where his wife is also Permanent Secretary. After allegations emerged of a possible conflict of interest or nepotism, an attempt was made take him to SSHFC but that could not hold because of reported breach of procedure.
The job of CEO at GIEPA became vacant after the sudden death of Mr Jallow in July.
