On the authority of our Party Leader, Dr. Ismaila Ceesay, and on behalf of our party members, we extend our heartfelt condolences to H.E. Adama Barrow and his cabinet; H.E Joof’s family; and the entire Gambian citizens, home and abroad.
H.E. Joof was a towering figure and has played a significant role towards the advancement of The Gambia and the sub-region. He devoted his entire life in the service of our people; thus, making this an irreparable loss.
We pray that Allah, the Almighty, grant him mercy and rest his soul in Jannat-ul-firdawsi. May Allah grant his family and all Gambians the fortitude to bear the loss.
