Real De Banjul Defeated GAF 4-1 In Baluwo Sponsored GFF 1st Division League

Real De Banjul Football Club defeated Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) Football Club by four goals to one in the Baluwo-sponsored Gambia Football Federation (GFF) 1st Division League match.

GAF took the lead against Real De Banjul in the 30th minute of the game through Modou Lamin Fofana to put the Khaki boys ahead. 

Salifu Colley equalized for Real De Banjul in the 48th minute of the game through Baboucarr Touray’s pass. 

Salifu Colley scored his second goal of the day to put Real De Banjul 2-1 ahead in the 65th minute of the game. 

Real De Banjul up the ante to two goals when Abdoulie Baldeh put them three goals to one in the 67th minute of the game through Modou Manneh’s cross. Baldeh wasn’t done for the day as he scored his second goal in the 73rd minute to put Real De Banjul ahead by four goals to one.

Salifu Colley and Abdoulie Baldeh both scored a second-half brace to inspire Real De Banjul’s comeback win over GAF FC. 

Elsewhere in the league, Fortune FC defeated Banjul United 1-0 to claim all three points at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama. 

Fortune’s new signing Alieu Barry scored the only goal in his debut for the petroleum boys to seal victory for them in the 51st minute of the game. 

Meanwhile, Falcons also defeated Waa Banjul 1-0 to collect the maximum number of points in the game. Bakary Touray’s 77th-minute goal was all but enough to secure a victory for the Falcons against Waa Banjul

The newly promoted Greater Tomorrow would entertain Samger Football Club at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama today.
