President Adama Barrow has assigned Rambo Jatta, Saikouba Jarju, Saikou Marong, Alagie Jawara, Sheikh Hydara, and others to the foreign service.
Saikouba Jarju is appointed the First Secretary at the Gambian embassy in Mauritania, and Saikou Marong is appointed as Gambian Consular to Morocco.
Alhagi Jawara is appointed the First Secretary in Riyadh, and Rambo Ousman Jatta is appointed the Gambian Consular to South Africa.
Vincent Mendy is appointed Deputy Ambassador to Cuba, and Sheikh Tijan Hydara of GANU is appointed as the Gambian Ambassador to Cuba.
Bakary Singhateh is appointed the first Secretary to Abu Dhabi, and Aji Fatou Joof is appointed the First Secretary to India, while Suntu Touray is elevated to Deputy High Commissioner in the United Kingdom.
