President Barrow To Commenced His Annual Leave On 4th October In Mankamang Kunda

President Adama Barrow will commence his annual leave from October 4th to November 8th, 2023 in his home village of Mankajang Kunda after a series of official Provincial Engagements according to a statement posted on the State House Facebook.

The President will depart Banjul on Thursday, September 28th, 2023, for a series of engagements in rural Gambia ranging from road openings to the inauguration of his National People’s Party political bureaus.

“On 30th September 2023, the President will inaugurate the North Bank Lot 2 Saloum and Nianija Roads Project at Chamen Nianija at 3:00 P.M. On Monday, 2nd October 2023, he will inaugurate the 24 km Pavement of the Trans-Gambian Highway at the Misira – Kerr Ali border community at 12:00 noon.

“In separate engagements, President Barrow, in his capacity as Secretary-General and Party leader of the National People’s Party – NPP, will on Friday, 29th September 2023, open the NPP CRR South Regional Bureau in Bansang while the CRR North Regional Bureau situated at Sinchu Jenung will be inaugurated on Sunday, 1st October 2023 at 3:00 P.M,” State House announced.

On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, the President will open the NPP Regional Bureau at Jarra Soma in the Lower River Region. After a week of engagements, President Barrow will proceed on his annual leave from October 4 to November 8, 2023, at his home village of Mankamang Kunda.
