A Prominent member of the National People’s Party (NPP), Bubacarr Jallow, fondly known as Small or Flagman said he has suspended all activities with the Party (NPP) until further notice.
“Starting from today 1st of February 2023, I have suspended all my activities with the National People’s Party (NPP). I am not saying I leave NPP. President Barrow is my president but I have distanced myself from anything that has to do with NPP until further notice,” he told Kerr Fatou.
Asked why he is distancing himself from his party, he replied that; “there are a lot of reasons but for now I can only say I am not seeing myself at the party. I have suspended myself for now”.
Mr. Jallow, who goes by Small or Flagman is a familiar sight at the National People’s Party (NPP) events. He carries the National Flag during president Adama Barrow’s meetings, and also when the president travels or returned from traveling he is spotted with the flag at the farewell and welcoming events.
