Gambia Tourism Board Projects 51 Weekly Flights for 2025/2026 Season

The Gambia Tourism Board (GTBoard) has announced the commencement of the 2025/2026 tourism season, projecting a total of 51 weekly flights to the country throughout the period.

In a statement shared on its official Facebook page, the Board expressed optimism about the upcoming season, describing it as a time of renewed energy and enthusiasm for the Smiling Coast.

“This moment always brings renewed energy and excitement to the Smiling Coast. With 51 flights expected each week, this season promises to be vibrant as we continue to welcome visitors from around the world to experience the beauty and warmth of Destination Gambia,” the statement read.

The GTBoard also revealed that The Gambia Experience inaugurated the season with a flight from London carrying 189 passengers. The tour operator is scheduled to operate three flights per week to Banjul, reinforcing its long-standing partnership and commitment to the destination.

“They will be flying to Banjul three times a week, continuing its strong partnership and long-standing commitment to the destination.”

According to the Board, the anticipated surge in arrivals reflects the collective efforts of partners, stakeholders, and local communities dedicated to making The Gambia a welcoming and memorable destination for every visitor.
