The Gambia registered 2 new Covid-19 related deaths with 53 new cases.

The country’s Covid related deaths now rose to 134; and the total confirmed cases hiked to 4, 237, according to the 260th national situation report released earlier today.
The 2 new deaths (who are men aged 70 and 91), and 53 new cases came from the latest 813 new laboratory test results received from the Medical Research Council [MRC], and National Public Health Laboratory [NPHL].
Since March last year when The Gambia announced its maiden case, it now has 4, 237 confirmed cases; 134 deaths; 217 active cases, 3, 886 recoveries; and 36 people quarantined, as of 4th February, 2021.
