A 35-year-old Gambian man, Lasana Krubally, has won two million dalasi in sports betting with Bwinners, an online sports betting company in The Gambia.
Krubally, a native of Kanifing, won the money after placing a bet on 12 teams. He placed a D20 bet and won D2 million.
Speaking to the press, Krubally said the money will go a long way in helping him to achieve his dreams.
“This will go a long way in helping me to achieve my dreams. Because currently I am renting with my family and renting is very expensive. So, with this money, I will be able to buy my own compound and move there with my family,” he said.
Krubally said he has a bigger plan and aspirations and said the money he won will help him to achieve his goals.
He encouraged the public to go and try their chance at betting with Bwinners.
“I encourage everyone to come and start betting with Bwinners. Because the company is here to benefit people, especially young people so left to me alone, let everyone come and play bet so that you will have the chance to win millions,” Krubally encouraged the people.
Joseph George, the Branch Manager at Tallinding, said people are winning enormous amounts of money from betting, and they are paying them in cash.
Mr. George said D2 million was won by a young man who has also played D30.
“The game is luck. If your luck is there, you can win. Our previous winner played D30, and he won D2 million, so this time around Lasana also played D20 and also won D2 million,” he said.
Mr. Krubally said paying is not their problem no matter how huge the money is, they pay them (winners) cash.
Mr. George called on their customers to come and try their chance because it is luck.
