Breaking News: The Pilgrims Will Fly Back This Afternoon

Lamin Cham Managing Director Gambia International Airlines told Kerr Fatou that they have now obtained the overflight permit to fly over Mali.

“With The intervention of the Government and The Gambia Civil Aviation Authority the overflight permission have been obtained, the crew and pilgrims are being transported from the hotel back to the airport. We expect to fly this afternoon between 3:00pm to 6:00pm through the same route to Saudi.”

Earlier this morning Malian authorities did not allow the flight carrying the second batch of Gambian pilgrims to use its airspace due to overflight permit issues.
