The alleged stabbing by the 17-year-old pupil occurred at the school on 16th June 2022, following a disagreement between the two.

A statement from the school told this medium that the teacher (Mr. Jatta) noticed that the student was not “punctual and regular” and reported him to the Principal Mr Jallow who asked him to go home and call his parents.

On his way home, he was overheard insulting and then hard push and pull with the said teacher while leaving the school gate, the statement added.
