Former president Yahya Jammeh has asked the current party leader of Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction Fabakary Tombong Jatta to return the party’s documents if they seek Reconciliation.

“I’ve made it clear to them that joining NPP will only happen over my dead body. The condition I’ve set for Yahya Tamba is simple: if they truly seek reconciliation, they must return all APRC documents,” Jammeh stated.

Furthermore, Jammeh refuted claims of engaging in discussions with Habib Secka, asserting that he had severed communication with Secka long ago.

“I have never encountered a more dishonest individual than Habib Secka. His recent assertions regarding my alleged conversations are entirely baseless. I cut off contact with both Nano and Habib Secka a considerable time ago,” Jammeh remarked.

Former president Yahya Jammeh said Habib Secka once informed him about Amul Nyassi wanting a meeting with another woman in Bwiam.

“I questioned him about the reason, and he said he didn’t know what the meeting was about. I asked him how he could accept a meeting request without knowing the reason. He said maybe he (Amul) wanted to join us, I told him anyone who wants to join us should contact the executive and inform them because the party is open. Anyone who wants to join us, you are welcome but do not impose any conditions.

“The truth is I don’t want to get angry, but what I said is very clear, and these people did exactly what I expected. What I expected before I blocked them, is what happened. To say, I said I would call Fabakary? I have not spoken to Fabakary or anyone else since he left for NPP. So if he (Habib Secka) says today I spoke to Fabakary, that’s a lie. Did you hear him when he swore on the Quran? When he said Jammeh said he would talk to (Fabakary Tombong Jatta) he didn’t swear. Because he knew that was not true,” he said.

Currently, Fabakary Tombong Jatta’s APRC faction holds the party’s documents.
