In a Video shared by Freedom, a woman is seen attacking Musa Yali Batchilly, the leader of the opposition Gambia Action party.
The woman who was visibly angry, claimed that the politician owes her some money.
When The GAP leader was first confronted by the woman, he is overheard telling the woman to meet him home. A request the woman rejected.
“I will not meet you at home. You are running. You are a thief. You are not ashamed to spend the money of a woman,” she said.
Batchilly later is seen in the video trying to board a taxi, but he was denied by the woman with the help of another man who also claimed that the politician is a ‘thief’, and if he leaves they wouldn’t see him again.
The incident took place at the gate of Kanifing Magistrates’ Court.
Musa Yali Batchilly was unavailable for comments, after several attempts.
