Transport Fares Remain The Same Across The Country

It has come to the attention of The Ministry of Transport, Works and Infrastructure that some drivers are unilaterally increasing transport fares for various destinations across the country.

Drivers are reminded that this practice is unacceptable. 

Equally, the public is reminded that The Ministry of Transport, Works and Infrastructure has started negotiations with the relevant transport union officials for an amicable solution. 

Until then, transport fares for all the destinations across the country remain the same. 

The cooperation of the public, especially commercial drivers, is highly solicited.
