Four people are confirmed dead following a car accident on the road between Felenkoto and Bureng in Jarra, according to local eyewitnesses.
The accident reportedly occurred while the victims were traveling to attend a friend’s burial.
“They were going to a friend’s funeral,” an eyewitness recounted to Kerr Fatou. “The accident happened between Felenkoto and Bureng. Four people died, and one person suffered a broken arm and leg. In total, four people died, and four are currently hospitalized.”
Among those injured is the well-known Marabout Ba Baturu Jabbi, who is reportedly receiving treatment at the Jarra Soma hospital.
