The Secretary General of The Gambia Football Federation Lamin Jassey has congratulates President Lamin Kabba Bajo who has been elected as President of Wafu earlier today. Below is the statement by SG Jassey.
With great delight and super duper pride I request you to join me in congratulating my able boss Lamin Kaba Bajo on his election as the President of West African Football Union, Zone A. President Kaba went unopposed which is an reaffirmation of the trust and confidence his colleagues in WaFu Zone A, had bestowed on him.
It’s has to be said and for the records, President Kaba, is the first Gambia to be elected in this position which is another new record set in his Presidency of Gambia Football Federation.
That said, Sir, I Congratulate you on your new position as the head of the Subregional Football Governing body. I know you’ve worked hard to reach this point, and I’m so happy that you’ve been recognized for your accomplishment with this new assignment. It is well-deserved. It’s such an incredible opportunity for you and Gambian Football, and I can’t think of anyone better suited to the role than you. With your skills and experience, you’re sure to knock this one out of the park.
