The First Deputy Leader of the Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC), Ousman Rambo Jatta has admitted that things are not going well for the NPP in Bakau.

“Things are not going well, if we are not making a fool of one another. Things are going at one side. Let us tell one another things that if we see another tomorrow, we will not bow our heads. Things are not going right. If you check, all the three meetings we had in Bakau, we didn’t see people. This is a hard fact. NPP, you are not working. The type of political work I saw is not work. There is no work in NPP. Staying at home [and] listening to audios is not working. If you don’t believe it, you can ask about all the three meetings we did in Bakau, who is escorting Assan? What is the reason Assan did not shamefully come out of Kachikally?” he said in a leaked audio obtained by this medium, recently.

Ousman Rambo Jatta made these remarks while responding to one Sirreh Drammeh, the chairwoman of the National People’s Party regarding the effort put into the campaign of Assan Dampha, its candidate for the Bakau constituency.

Assan Dampha for the National People’s Party is running in the Bakau constituency against Assan Touray who is seeking re-election under the United Democratic Party in the 9th April parliamentary election.
