The National Youth President of the Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC), MC Cham Jr, has described President Adama Barrow as a cool and calm person after he visited the president at State House earlier today.
Cham in an audio message sent to this reporter after his visit, described the meeting with the president in glowing and very positive terms.
“He is a cool and calm person. It is very difficult to have someone like MC Cham, who is constantly criticizing him, visit him, and be accorded a welcome to discuss issues with him. The discussions lasted hours. He listened to me and responded. The conversation was all about the country, the security, cost of living, health, Agriculture and a whole host of other things,” MC Cham Jr said.
MC Cham, who fancies himself as one of the president’s biggest critic, met with him at the president’s invitation.
