GSIC Calls On Gambians To Maintain Peace

The Gambia Supreme Islamic Council [GSIC] has called on Gambians in and outside the country to maintain peace.
“The Gambia Supreme Islamic Council is calling upon all Gambians in or out of the country to desist from and resist any attempt of forming division, hatred and the uncivil attitudes of belligerency and misplaced desires for vendetta between Gambians,” The Council said in a statement shared with Kerr Fatou.
The Gambia Supreme Islamic Council is an Islamic organisation in the Gambia founded in 1992; and runs religious affairs of Muslims in the country. It comprises religious scholars.
