Ebrima Dibba Released, Asked To Report Tomorrow

The United Democratic Party (UDP)’s, Deputy National Organizing Secretary, Mr. Ebrima Dibba has been released by the police after spending almost seven hours at the police headquarters in Banjul for questioning.
Mr. Dibba, as we go to press, is released on his own cognizance, and asked to report back to police headquarters at 10am, tomorrow morning.
“We’re heading home. No charges at all. He has to report back tomorrow by 10am. #NeverAgain.” -Fulus Drammeh, a UDP supporter who went to police headquarters to show solidarity with Ebrima Dibba, wrote on his Facebook page.
The United Democratic Party (UDP) Deputy National Organizing Secretary, Ebrima Dibba, could not be reached for confirmation as we go to press. He is the latest politician to be invited by police for questioning. Earlier this month, the National Youth President for the Gambia Democratic Congress [GDC], Mr. MC Cham Jr.; and the suspended Spokesperson for Citizens’ Alliance [CA], Ms. Nenneh Freda Gomez, were also invited to police headquarters for questioning and released without any charges.
