New Vice Chairman IEC
President Adama Barrow in consultation with the Judicial service commission has appointed Joseph Colley as a commission member and Vice Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC).

The appointment letter which is dated 4th March 2021 was received by the commission on Tuesday.
Confirming his appointment to Kerr Fatou on phone, Colley said, “Yes, I have been appointed a commission member and Vice Chair in accordance with Section 42 of the 1997 Constitution. We (IEC) received the letter yesterday (Tuesday). But it’s dated 4th March.”
Joseph, until this development was the Director of Communications at IEC.
