Sanna Marong, fondly known as UK Marong, the National People’s Party (NPP) North Bank Region Youth Coordinator, has described Seedy Njie as a ‘hypocrite’ as he responds to the National People’s Party Deputy Spokesperson.
“You are a hypocrite; you will never tell the truth for the rest of your life. You said no one joined the NPP before you, that’s a lie. Even president Barrow should know that you are a hypocrite. You are the one who said president Barrow will not be sworn-in the Gambia. And people are still accusing you of being an agent for Yahya Jammeh,” he said.
He continued; “Whether you like it or not, Lamin Cham, Lamin Jatta and Dou Sannoh are the founding members of NPP. Before the coming of Fabakary Tombong Jatta, Rambo Jatta, how many times did Fabakary Tombong Jatta attack the president, and you never responded to him or Rambo Jatta.
“How many times did Yahya Jammeh make statements about the president, and you never responded. You say Dou Sannoh and others don’t respond to UDP, but have you ever responded to Yahya Jammeh. You think you are wise, while you are more lackadaisical than everyone. Furthermore, you are a tribalist. I was at the Congress, you said Maimuna Ceesay Darboe and Fatoumata Jawara will not win. That was a lie because they all won”.
He said the National People’s Party Deputy Spokesperson Seedy Njie is only beside the president for hypocrisy and telling lies.
“You only beside the president for hypocrisy and telling lies. Lamin Cham has never reported anyone. Lamin Cham and Dou Sannoh are cleaner than you. Because of your tribal sentiment, you said you they don’t win elections in their own compounds, but how many times did president Barrow lose in your area? If left to you alone, president Barrow will not be a president in this country. Limit yourself and know what to say. Who are you, after all”? He asked
UK Marong made these remarks after the National People’s Party Deputy Spokesperson Seedy Njie accused some NPP’s National executive of being hypocrites.
