Five people are reported dead in a fatal road accident that took place in the Kiang Central village of Bamako in the early hours of Saturday.
“The accident happened around 6 am today. A BMW was speeding toward Jarra Soma and a Truck was driving in the opposite direction toward Kombo. The BMW lost control, hit the police checkpoint, and then hit the truck on the sides. We have confirmed the death of five people on the spot. I understand they are all from the same family. The driver was with his wife, child, father, and other relatives. Three people are in critical condition at the hospital.” a resident of Kiang Bamako told Kerr Fatou.
