Minister of Tourism and Culture

The Minister of Tourism and Culture, Hamat NK.Bah told the National Assembly select committee on tourism, arts, youth and sports that his ministry can’t submit its activity report any time soon due to time factor, and urged the committee to give them enough time to prepare the report.
Minister Bah said his ministry is currently preparing to undertake a tour in Europe to meet with its partners in development.
Bah suggested the select committee on tourism be separated from the youth and sports because the two institutions can’t be in the same committee.
Reacting to the Minister’s comment, the chairperson of the committee, Hon Saikou Bah assured him (the minister) that the committee would sit and discuss among themselves to be able to give them time to submit their report.
The Minister of Tourism and Culture made the remarks on Friday before the National Assembly select committee on tourism, arts, youth and sports during the appearance of his ministry for the presentation of its activity report and Financial statement for 2021 and 2022.
