The Secretary General and leader of the Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC) Mama Kandeh has confirmed making a request to meet with President Adama Barrow.

“I have made a request to meet him (President Barrow). If he approves it, I will sit with him,” the GDC leader told King Fm on Monday.
He however declined to disclose why he wants to meet the head of state.
“If I reach there (State House) he will hear what I want to say. He didn’t call me. I am the one who requested to see him,” he added.
Mama Kandeh is the Secretary General and leader of Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC).
Both Kandeh and President Adama Barrow are from Jimara in the Upper River Region (URR) but forms different political parties.
