Lamin F Bojang, a candidate, who emerged with 17 votes in the National People’s Party’s (NPP)’s primary for the Brikama Area Council chairman held on Wednesday, has alleged that the primary was compromised.
Mr. Bojang made these allegations on his Facebook page where he wrote,
“I wish to take this opportunity to thank all my supporters. The NPP Primary was compromised. I will make a statement to the media about the circumstances leading to the result,”
Lamin F Bojang finished 3rd behind Ahmed Gitteh (30 votes) and Seedy Ceesay (30).
