The Police Operations and Commanding Team have been commended for a “deserving well coordinated” security exercise during the nominations for presidential aspirants, according to a statement published on the Poliso Magazine.

“…GPF shall ensure security services are delivered to all with professionalism and in line with the rule of law and respect for fundamental human rights,” the statement added.
It commended the Police Chief of Operations AIG Landing Bojang-HQ and his team of competent officers including, Commissioner of Police Omar Darboe-KM, Commissioner of Police- PIU Adeline Basangeh, Deputy Commissioner Lamin LK Bojang -PIU, Assistant Commissioner Foday SK Balajo-KM, Chief Superintendent Lamin Manka-KM; as well as their teams of efficient ground commanders from Kanifing Region including Supervising Inspectors, Senior NCOs, gallant men and women from the PIU, General Duties, CID, Mobile Traffic, GID, and all security personnel who participated in the successful implementation of the operations.
It finally urged the members of the public to support, collaborate and partner with the Police for a hitch free campaign period.
