The Gambia government has announced in a press statement its decision to grant visa-free entry to all Saudi Arabian citizens, effective immediately.
This move according to the government statement aims to strengthen ties between the two nations and encourage Saudi investment, trade, and tourism in The Gambia.
“The Government of the Republic of The Gambia wishes to announce that, based on the excellent relations between the Republic of The Gambia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in pursuit of making all possible efforts to encourage and facilitate the entry of Saudi Nationals to The Gambia for investment, trade, and tourism, a decision has been taken to ease entry procedures for all Saudi Citizens traveling to The Gambia,” the Gambia government announced on Wednesday.
The government highlighted that this decision aims to further enhance the close ties between the two nations and to support ongoing collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Gambia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The implementation of this policy, effective immediately, is being coordinated jointly by both countries, as per standard practice in such matters, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
