The Deputy Public Relations Officer of The Gambia Police Force, C/ASP Muhammed Y. Darboe, has confirmed the arrest and detention of two suspects in connection with the alleged kidnapping of a young girl in Sifoe, Kombo South.
“Two people are arrested in connection to the alleged kidnapping. And investigations are ongoing right now. But the good thing is the girl has been found and taken to the hospital. As of now, we are not able to get anything about her medical report,” Deputy Police PRO Muhammed Y. Darboe told Kerr Fatou.
Adama Bah went missing after she boarded a Brikama -bound car on her way to school on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. A family member told Kerr Fatou that the girl texted to alert them that she was being driven into the bush and expressed fear for her safety.
