Saikou Kombe Bojang Resigns as UDP Chairman in Sanyang

Saikou Kombe Bojang, the chairman of the United Democratic Party (UDP) in Sanyang, Kombo South District, has resigned from his position and withdrawn his membership from the party, citing personal reflection and careful consideration.

In a letter addressed to the UDP Secretary General and Party Leader, Mr. Bojang formally announced his decision, stating that his resignation takes immediate effect. The letter also confirms that he is stepping down both as a party official and as a registered member of the UDP.

“I write to formally tender my resignation from the United Democratic Party (UDP) with immediate effect. This resignation also applies to my position as Chairman of the Party in Sanyang. Kombo South District,” he wrote.

Mr. Bojang emphasized that his decision was voluntary and made independently, without pressure or external influence. He described the move as the outcome of thoughtful personal reflection.

“This decision has been taken after careful consideration and personal reflection. I wish to state that it is a voluntary decision made in good faith and without any external influence,” the letter stated.

He expressed gratitude to the party’s leadership and grassroots members for their support during his tenure, thanking officials at the national, regional, and district levels, as well as party members in Sanyang and the wider Kombo South District.

“I take this opportunity to sincerely thank the UDP leadership at national, regional, and district levels, as well as party members in Sanyang and Kombo South, for the trust. Collaboration and support were accorded to me throughout my service as a loyal member and chairman”

Mr. Bojang concluded by requesting that the party update its records to reflect his resignation.

“Kindly accept this letter as my official resignation and ensure that all relevant party records are updated accordingly,” the letter concludes.
