The Press Secretary of the Gambia Action Party (GAP) Sheikhna Faal has described Hon. Kebba Lang Fofana’s called for the arrest of ‘No To Alliance’ as the highest level of ‘hypocrisy’ and dishonesty.

“It is the highest level of hypocrisy and dishonesty on the part of nominated member Kebba lang Fofana calling for the arrest of the APRC faction who gave Jammeh to speak on their recent meeting when 70 plus children died due to negligence on the part of the government he serves…

“in no circumstances did he call for anyone to be arrested when the lives of 70 innocent children died due to corruption in our health sector…Let me remind him of the number of deaths daily due to negligence by our health sector or corrupt practice in the government he continues to serve and enjoy the privileges of taxpayers’ money….,” the GAP press secretary said.

Mr. Faal calls on honorable Fofana to talk about the 500 million dalasis which he said the government ‘lavishly’ spent during the Covid pandemic;

“He has been a friend and thought he could do better by telling Gambians how 500 million dalasis was lavishly spent by the government he serve during the Covid pandemic which he knew how it all folded…Let me remind him of the failures in all sectors and under no circumstances did he condemn or ask for anyone’s arrest…let the truth be told, Kebba lang Fofana is in no position to speak in such matters as there are agencies responsible for that and he should rather concentrate on how to make it better for Gambians in his capacity and stop the hypocrisy and start telling his boss the truth and spare us with their intimidation tactics….,” he concluded.

Nominated member Kebba Lang Fofana on Thursday calls for the arrest of the ‘No To Alliance’ group and gave former president Yahya Jammeh a platform to talk.
