Senegal’s President Faye to Visit The Gambia for Talks on Bilateral Cooperation

President Bassirou Diomaye Faye of Senegal is expected to arrive in The Gambia on Saturday for a one-day working visit, according to a report by the state broadcaster GRTS.
Mr. Faye is scheduled to land at Banjul International Airport at 10 a.m., where he will be received by President Adama Barrow and senior government officials.
The visit is expected to center on bilateral talks between the two leaders, aimed at strengthening the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Senegal and The Gambia share deep historical, cultural, and economic links, and officials say the meeting will provide an opportunity to further advance collaboration on issues of mutual interest.
