In his resignation letter, Ndong wrote:

“I, Nuha Ndong, from Bonto Village, Kombo East District, the youth coordinator of NPP in Pirang Ward. I am sending this letter to all my National People’s Party members about the position I am serving in the ward from 2022 to date. I am hereby resigning from the position with immediate effect. It was a great pleasure working with the party, as from now I am no longer a member of the party. I am thanking every member of the National People’s Party with all the good rapport during our time in the party and togetherness with peace and harmony,” he said.
