Demba Sabally, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Security, and First Vice President of the National People’s Party (NPP), has declared that while the NPP can be challenged, it remains undefeatable in any election in The Gambia.
Minister Sabally made the statement during the NPP’s fundraising event held in Spain on Saturday, 4th October 2025.
“We as NPP, we embodied the nation in language and people. Our strength is unity and our loyalty to President Barrow and to our organization,” he emphasized.
Addressing party supporters, Minister Sabally reminded them that the 2026 elections are fast approaching and urged Gambians in the diaspora to replicate their efforts from 2021.
“Get involved, make audios, do your Facebook Live, Twitter, and Instagram, and go to media houses, call your families and friends, get registered, and vote,” he appealed.
Sabally’s remarks underscored the NPP’s confidence heading into the upcoming election cycle, as the party continues to consolidate support both at home and abroad.
