Four Gambian returnees have transformed their once uncertain migration journeys into an inspiring success story by establishing Pathieu Biachia Security Company Limited. The company, founded by Moses Gomez, Pierre Saidy, Albert Gomez, and Modou Salieu Bah, marked a milestone on Saturday, September 20, 2025, when it graduated 22 recruits after a 30-day intensive training program.
Speaking at the ceremony, co-founder Bakary Gomez underscored the company’s commitment to discipline, integrity, and professionalism. He described the graduates as the torchbearers of the company’s vision.
“Graduates, as you step into your roles as elite protectors, remember this: professionalism is your armor, vigilance is your weapon, and integrity is your guide. Carry the name of Pathieu Baichia Security Company Limited with pride and serve with honor,” he said.
Company secretary Pa Mool Gomez outlined the firm’s ambition to become The Gambia’s most trusted and respected security provider, while creating pathways for young people through skills training and employment.
“We believe in empowering young people by providing them with training, skills, and meaningful employment opportunities,” he emphasized.
Guest speaker, retired Lieutenant Colonel Wandifa Barrow, commended the graduates and urged them to uphold discipline and integrity in their service.
“You are now guidance of safety, representatives of professionalism, and symbols of discipline; every shift you stand, every person you protect, and every action you take will define not only your reputation but also that of this company,” he told the new recruits.
The journey of Pathieu Biachia Security Company Limited, born from the struggles of irregular migration, now stands as a beacon of hope for Gambian youth—demonstrating that determination, vision, and hard work can turn adversity into achievement.
