Mamma Kandeh, leader and secretary general of the Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC), is currently in Ghana to participate in the African Political Parties Summit 2025, held from August 12 to 15.
The summit, organized by the Africa Governance Centre in partnership with the Government of the Republic of Ghana, is convened under the theme “From Politics to Prosperity.”
Bringing together over 135 political parties and government representatives from across multiple continents, the event serves as a platform for political dialogue and collaboration. During the summit, Mr. Kandeh is scheduled to deliver a keynote address.
Additionally, he is serving on the summit’s steering committee, contributing to the strategic oversight and future planning of the organization.
