Sulayman Dampha, the Public Relation officer of Serekunda market, has called on the residents of the Kanifing Municipality to re-elect Talib Ahmed Bensouda as mayor.

“NPP wants to make KMC a playing group and a political ground because their government is not doing anything for the Gambia. Food is expensive, bad health conditions, bad education, bad agriculture. I am calling on every genuine Gambian to give their back to all NPP candidates for the upcoming Local Government Elections and maintain Talib Ahmed Bensouda as Mayor,” he said.

The Serekunda market PRO who is also the Public Relations officer of the United Democratic Party in Bundung Constituency highlights the reasons to maintain Talib Ahmed Bensouda as Mayor.

“Since the establishment of KMC, we have never seen a mayor like Talib. The development that he brought no mayor has ever brought to us. He fenced the Bakoteh Dumpsite Before you find it exceedingly difficult to breathe around SOS area. The markets in KMC were very dirty, especially Serekunda market.

“We used to have a Tractor that collects garbage, but the tractor sometimes used to stand here for more than fifteen days, which was very bad for us. He removed all that for us. He brought the Mbalit project to solve all those problems. He brought 19 garbage trucks for us. He solves the problem of our toilet, which was closed for a long time. He dug a borehole for us at the market here, he provided us with a cold storage at the market,” he said

Sulayman Dampha is the Public Relation officer (PRO) at the Serekunda market. He is also the Public Relation officer of the United Democratic Party in Bundung Constituency.
