The first Deputy Party leader of the Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC), Ousman Rambo Jatta has called for a massive turnout at the Bundung Magistrate Court to show solidarity to Babucarr (Bob) Keita.

“Today I want to talk about our brother Bubacarr (Bob) Keita. We all know what is happening to this young man for the past years. What is happening to him is injustice and it should stop. I don’t want to talk about the case because I don’t want to violate the law, but to go out and be in solidarity with him is our right. God wish tomorrow (Thursday) 2:30pm his court case will resume at the Bundung Magistrate Court.

“If you believe that what they are doing to him is injustice. Let’s make sure and fill the Bundung Highway. Let’s fill the road in a way that even the vehicles and bicycles will not have space to move. Let’s go there peacefully and show solidarity to Bob Keita. This is not going to be easy for the people who want to jail him. And us the men should be very careful because if they succeed, even if someone has an affair with his wife, she will go and report you for rape,” he said.

Bubacarr Bob Keita, 29, has been standing trial for the alleged rape of his former wife’s 15-year-old sister, but he denies any culpability.
